We are manufacturing 2WH Muffler for Bajaj Auto Limited from 1997. Bajaj Auto Limited make bikes of model platina, discover 125 and Discover Model. In Silencer/Muffler Manufacturing we are using TIG Welding, SS Agro Shield Welding, Spot Welding, Projection Welding etc.
In muffler welding 100% spm(special purpose machines) are being used. Till date we have supplied nos of muffler to Bajaj Auto Limited. We have manufactured 4 types of muffler model. We have supplied 3000 nos of mufflers to Bajaj Auto Ltd. Some of over models is wich we have manufactured are Disco 125, Disco 100, Platina, Disco M, 2011, BM 100, BM 150 and JK. 40 % of mufflers operation are completed on SPMs.
• Cylinder Head Painting
When you consider that most thermostats are rated at 190 degrees F or cooler, there really is no reason why a quality engine enamel wouldn't work. I've taken IR readings of up to 270 degrees F on valve covers but even this temperature should be fine. The main area where coating failure does occur is cylinder heads with extended exhaust ports. Without the cooling effects of a nearby water jacket, these areas will quickly discolor and coating will fail.
If the heads you're coating have this extended exhaust runner then there are 2 ways to minimize coating failure problem. Use an exhaust manifold paint if the color is appropriate (10393Z aerosol and 10363Z pint Satin Black maybe the closest match) or coat the inner exhaust port area with a thermal barrier coating like one of the fine products used by performance engine builders.
